Where to byu different things?

Postby Freelance » Sat Sep 26, 2009 5:38 pm

I'm about to arrive at Darwin, and am buying a 4wd, probably a Landcruiser 60-series or a Troopy. After I have bougt the car I need a lot of stuff, like: plates, pans, some kind of gas-stove, eskie, tent, matresses, jerrycan ect. ect. where is it cheapest to byu all those things arround Darwin ?
Does anyone have a list of all the things you have i your truck, trailer ?
What doo you have with you to the outback? How many spare tyres, pump to tyres? Showel, tow rope, jacklift. what more than this?

If you have any of those things used for sale arround Darwin please write.
Thanks in advance

Hi Freelance ... welcome to the Forum

If there's any disposals stores close by, they usually keep good quality items at reasonable prices.

I buy a lot of things from the Salvos, like cutlery, travel mugs, assorted containers etc. My campkitchen sink was just $1 ::) a huge plastic tub I think it was a babies bathtub actually::()

I even scored an old cobb cooker for $5
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home, in towns and cities. -Nessmuk
