Tarp or 'gazebo' for shelter

Postby Young Camping Family » Wed Oct 21, 2009 1:02 pm

I have been thinking about trying to set up a tarp or some sort of pre-fab gazebo to have for cooking/sitting under.

Anyone with suggestions of what to use (brand or type) and what size?

Any pics?

Thanks,

Rachel.

Absolutely a tarp Rachel and only Durarig or Ultrarig with the D loops. The tarp is much more versatile and if you get a big one you can put it over the camp (cooler in summer and warmer in winter) and extend it out to make a kitchen/sitting area.

There are a number of pics on here but you would need to go back through some of the old threads in particular the ones under Pictures of your Campsite I think it is called.
