This is a question for a camping friend who is on the tall side. Does anyone know of a camping table that might be at least a metre high? We came across one at a campsite that I think was a Lifetime brand, but doesn't seem to be in production now. The height adjustable tables don't seem to raise that high either.
My poor tall friend is very frustrated by low camping tables, especially when it comes to food prep & wash-up.
Not sure how tall you are wanting. I have one of these and it adjusts to 36" or 3 feet. Also don't know what your location is Golly so cannot recommend anywhere to purchase but most camping stores have them.
It probably wouldn't be too difficult to go to the local metal fabricator and either have them extend the legs, or fabricate new lower pieces. The only issue I can see is that the new extended legs wouldn't fold into the table when retracted.
Purely by coincidence I just bought the folding Lifetime table today! $70 down from $110 at Campingworld. It seemed the best table they had out there and best value for money and it is really a lot higher than all the other tables they had on offer.
I'm actually quite excited about it because up until now, I've never had a "proper" camping table. It'll be a very nice addition to my camp kitchen.
Also - I haven't set it up yet, but - I assume the legs are individually adjustable, which is a real bonus if your campsite isn't level or has uneven ground.
I hope the weather holds for you Lin - I'm officially in Winter hibernation now! The 4WD windscreen was iced up yesterday morning, so I picked up the garden hose to wash the ice off - and the hose broke in half Too cold outside for me when that happens! Kev
