Great Bear Tents

Postby Simon R » Sat Oct 08, 2011 1:27 pm

Does anyone know anything about Great Bear tents? I'm looking at this one, http://www.camping-warehouse.com.au/ten ... -tent.html but can't seem to find out anything about them on the net, and the price seems too good to be true. What do you think?

Thanks

Sorry Simon but Ive never heard of them????

Only ones I can find for sale on a google search is at that camping warehouse and a camping store on ebay which I think is the one & the same.

Good price though but then that depends on what quality the tent is?

The quality is what I was wondering about, I really like the design of them though.

Hi Simon....Pity you never said where you are from./...

If you live in the Brisbane area,,,,pop out and see them...touch them and ask your questions direct....
If from around here, then pop over to,,,,

You can contact us by phone on 1300 221 362 or by email at sales@camping-warehouse.com.au

Or please write to us at:
Camping Warehouse
Suite 9
23 Middle Street
Cleveland
QLD 4163

I would certainly like to view one in the flesh if I was buying one....to me they look like they would only be ''Shower-Proof''.......not ''Weather-Proof'' as claimed.....Think that I would also be asking if they come with a fly...although...I would be using a Tarp with one regardless

Cheers.......you could always bring it to the ''TIN CAN BAY GROUP CAMP'' on the 28th / 29th of this month

Just think....This time next month....We will have on-board our very own '' tent expert....lol...ay Josh

I can't, I'm down in Victoria. It was wondering if it came with a fly or not...very strange not to. I don't think that it would withstand the rain down here.

Maybe if you gave them a ring and asked them if they have a stockist in Vic that you could go and see one.

Be interesting to see what you find out Simon?

I always tarped over my tents not matter what, it beats any fly it`s stronger it gives more protection from wind, you can lower it down the sides where the weather is coming from ,rain ,frost ,sun, even my big heavy duty canvas tent i always tarped over it.
