We're just back from a long weekend at Tweed Hacienda, and I can't speak highly enough of the place. It's located right on the Tweed River at Chinderah, and we were fortunate enough to get an unpowered waterfront site overlooking Mount Warning. The sites in the unpowered area are very large, relatively private, and all but two are waterfront. If you are after powered sites, there are about 10 or so waterfront ones available. As it was a little bit chilly of an evening, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that fires are permitted if contained in a brazier with a base. The park has its own private boat ramp, a swimming pool, TV room and very clean amenities. Here's a few photos:
