Spent 4 days at Running Creek Reserve, about 8 k's off the Mansfield-Woods Point Rd at Howqua Inlet, just after the bridge, turn left onto the dirt road.
The road gets very narrow and steep towards the end (4Wd only when it rains I'd suggest), the reserve is down beside the Howqua River.
Although the road is very tight - with some extremely steep drop offs- it didn't stop people coming in with large caravans behind new Commodore wagons!!!
Very tall timber through this area with a cleared area near the river bend.
Pit toilets (very clean, fairly new)
We enjoyed fantastic weather and couldn'tget the kids out of the (freezing!) river.
They loved having their blow up boats to race down the rapids!
The uncles took the kids on a 4WD tour and were gone for about 6 hrs! A quick trip (15 mins) into the Howqua Caravan Park for some milk and drinks and the only phone reception there too.
Worth a look if you don't mind the rough track to get in, but again, if the weather isn't the best, avoid going in with a 2WD car.
Didn't get many pics as mostly took video.
