Towing a New Camper Trailer to the Gulf

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to shake your new camper trailer down by taking it to the Gulf of Carpentaria?

My wife and I did just that with a camper trailer I had just built from scratch.

yes, it is much better having independent suspension on a camper trailer for the cape. It will hold the road better and not 'wander' It will also handle the rougher stuff you'll encounter.

Do you mean standard slipper type springs? They are crap. Heavy duty springs like off a 4WD with shockies would be fine and probably cheaper. Easier to fix too if something goes wrong. So I can't respond to the poll as it is posted.
