Its on order

Postby markcrook » Wed Mar 25, 2009 12:10 pm

:armsup Ok I have done it, ordered my Liberty All-Terrain camper trailer with 9’ tent.

Did lots of research including crawling over and under pretty much every camper trailer at the Perth show. The best price we could get on one was $10000 and a part from having a Treg hitch couldn’t see much difference. The Liberty price also included the full annexe/sun room.

We aren't planning on taking it seriously off-road, but probably on unsealed roads - so at present it is more than edequate for our needs.

In fact the one feature the Liberty has that a lot of the others don’t is a privacy screen – which is a big must for us :booty . The other manufacturers suggested that we make one or hang a sheet up :$ . The good advice that we did get from the show was to start basic and add things as you feel that you need them or can afford them. The Liberty ticks those boxes for us. We have all the camping gear already.

Delivery is promised before Easter, as long as I can get payment to them soon! So we will have it in time for our Kalbarri trip. When it arrives I will take some pictures and post them.

Congratulations - it's agreat feeling isn't it!

Gypsy - if it's like mine the privacy screen is for the bed.
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!

Thanks Amanda, thought that might be the case.

Have also seen a privacy screen outside too so was not sure which one it might have been.

It screens the bed off from the fold out bit, where the kids will be sleeping, I was amazed out how many CTs dont have them. Camping maybe getting back to basics - but we still like our privacy occasionaly!

The good news is I have had a phone call today to say it has been dispatched :armsup
