Postby nocansing » Tue Aug 28, 2007 8:46 pm

Can anyone recommend which site may be better? Im looking at a week over the chirstmas/new year period, five adults and no kids. I dont want somewhere too crowded. I have been looking at the Takarakka Bush Resort at Carnarvon, please post if you have been to any of these?? thanks :)

Takrakka, try this post
viewtopic.php?t=1691

Gets darn hot there during summer. Wouldn't recommend it for Xmas.

Kenilworth is not too bad as you get plenty of shade at the sites. There is Booloumba Creek and Charlie Moreland CG. Peruse the forum as I am sure there are posts for Kenilworth SFP.

Can't camp at Conondale.

Just learning the various spots myself ... what about Kincunna (sp?)?

Right on the ocean and not too crowded so nice and cool around Xmas time.

Coonar Creek.

Just off the Goodwood Road ... head east from Gotlow. You need permits to camp too.
