I don't think I could camp directly over Christmas - I would miss out on seeing family (not ALL camp unfortunately!) - anything from Boxing Day is fair game tho....

I will be heading to Nariel Creek in NE Vic near Corryong where there is a a small music festival. Lotsa music, days in the creek sessions around the campfires(sometimes until dawn), bush dances and more...good week.

Many arrive on xmas day and for tea we all bring a meal and have a communal xmas tea....who wants family? This sure beats slaving over a hot stove.

Plus the campers help me set up and I can take my dogs!

Starting to think about Xmas/New Year. Never too late.

Possibly go up to Charlie Moreland for a few days around New Years. The kids cool off in the creek. Might do the trek up to Mt Allan. Unfortunately they closed the fire tower their as well.

Anyhow back in time for the Twenty20 at the Gabba on the 4th.
