Hi all,
Sept school holidays are just around the corner and we've just decided where we'll go for the first 4 days of it.
Has anyone been to Mt Barrney Lodge campgounds? It sounds fabulous on the website. Looking for any hints, tips or general info for the surroundings.

Went had a look a few months back. It was pretty dry at the time. Not a big ground but well setout.

There is also Flanagans Reserve and Bigriggen which are quite spacious. Bigriggen is good if you have kids and Flanagans you can take the mutt.

Mt Barney Lodge (no Dunny photos though)

Thanks for the photos Troyk. Hopefully it will have greened up a bit since we've had all this rain. I think their website said $8 for wood.
They have supervised kids activities on the school hols - that was the drawcard for us!
Will let you know how it goes.
Cheers.

I saw this sign at a place selling firewood up near Goomburra years ago. It was a self serve place beside the road.

Thought it was quite good :***

Was still there about 2 years ago.

Best sign I over saw coming into a town was "Hit the skids not the kids!" :?
