Burrum Heads is a nice spot but does get busy and I would book now because everything goes quickly.

Well for me I think I might head over to Curtis Island for easter and not do too much at all.

Camping Couple, I camped at Hervey Bay every year, sometimes two and three times a year, for over 20 years.

What sort of camping are you after ~ bush or caravan park.

Check this site out. http://www.beachfronttouristparks.com.au/ Pialba, Torquay and Scarness are actually right on the waterfront

However if you still want to go bush and have a 4X4 check this out http://www.epa.qld.gov.au/projects/park ... parkid=105 It's a National Park with a camping area close to the beach. You access it via Woodgate.

Have camped at all of them
