Rang the local store yesterday and got them to put one on hold for me for thursday evening.

The guy was not real happy about it saying they would only hold it for 24 hours but I managed to coerce him into keeping it until thursday for me.

Thank you again Derek.

Just got back from Sydney :armsup

Kathmandu had a sale, first and possibly the last time I shop there - only because they are usually too expensive for my blood.

They have a new shop in the Rouse Hill Town Center, 50% on most items. Scored a -25 Sleeping bag for $100. Well, they have a sliding scale on the rating. It's rated at comfortable down to -7 and extreme but usable down to -25.

Also got some thermals for 1/2 price and some really warm socks that where $9.90 marked down from $30 something. Was such a great sale  Unfortunately it ended Sunday, I would have posted up here sooner but had no net in Sydney.

Will have to give them a plug about their service, they where really helpful. Even after I spent over an hour in there picking out everything I wanted
Life's too short to be grumpy, SMILE
