Northern NSW Beach camping

Postby Hippie » Tue Mar 18, 2008 9:21 pm

Hello. I am looking for a beach camping spot within 2-3 hours drive south of Brisbane. We do not want a caravan park, looking for somewhere like Inskip but down south. It can have amenities but not necessary. It can also be 4 wheel drive access. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think Troy has a list going, I'm sure he will point you in the right direction.

By the way welcome to the site.

Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas.

We are heading up to Black Rocks camping area ( as in will_deness' link ) in 14 days and will do a report when I get back. :armsup

Fees are $10.00 per adult per night and $5.00 per child per night.

As its a NP, an entry fee is also needed at $7.00 per day or you can purchase an annual country pass which allows you into all NSW country NP's except for Kosciuszko National Park for $45.00.

If fishing is your thing then you also may need a fishing licence too

This is Black Rock where CCC is going. This particular campsite is right beside
Beach access for 4wd and you can drive along the beach to Woody Head/Iluka.
You have miles&miles of beach to walk or drive.

Toilets are only amenties,bbqs available.
ITs about 5klms south of Woodburn then 15/20klms dirt road.
