We were camping at Torrumbarry (vic) on the Murray..over a little busy but not too bad I suppose.

a friend we were camping with

a friend and our kids in the water

We arrived on the Thursday afternoon...there were people that arrived earlier that day and on the Wednesday... found a nice spot right where a bull ants nest moved down track a little and had to camp a little closer to another campsite than we would have liked...only to have more people come and pitch about 3 feet away from us (not sure that I would have done this)

We were about a 20 minute drive from Echuca and about a 10 minute drive from the Torrumbarry pub...which we did check out for tea one night.

Looks fabulous! I'm so envious - I'd love to camp by the Murray again - it's one of my favourite places.
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!

I can relate to that too Amanda. We use to go to Wakerie every weekend and i do miss the Murray. It's got something special about it don't it.
