CAMPING PLACE WITH FIRE NEAR CALOUNDRA??

Postby Smileandhug » Mon Aug 11, 2008 2:25 pm

Going up the coast for a few days camping this week. Wouldn't mind going to the beach at Caloundra etc this trip and have a look at the changes.

Wonder what the closes camping site is to Caloundra that I can take my camper and light a fire?? I know of Johns Landing but thought I go a bit further south??.

Appreciate any returns.

Geoff

Not sure that there are any close to Caloundra that allow fires. We go to Boreen Point when heading to the Sunshine Coast entirely for that reason, but I haven't come across anything south of there.
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!

SAH, I had a look through my books and I couldn't find anything.
