OK here's a link too the Land Rover Owners Club (ACT) (NO i'm not a member) but i have this CD.

Click on the link, then go to CAMPGROUND CORNER, this has literly 10s of 1000s of campgrounds Australia wide, it's basicly a compilation of where members of the club have camped for over 40yrs that the clubs been going, this is one of the oldest 4WD Clubs in the world, not just Australia and has a wealth of knowledge amongst the members.

This CD is $25 and the info give GPS points, dog friendly 2WD or 4WD access, whether it has facilities or not, it even rates the campsite or ground for how good it is, it has a photo of the campsite too, it is well worth the $25 and you don't have too be a member too buy this CD.

Where to camp in Vic, SA, or NSW..... you must be a international visitor eh? There's generally at LEAST a full day's travel (8hrs plus) between each of the states you mentioned.

So, have a play around on here (Google Maps) and get an idea of distances. Then sort out what/where you want to see, and how long you have to do it all.

In short, there's thousands of campgrounds and parks in the area you mentioned. But you nearly mentioned a good 1/2 of Australia
