Camping on the Eyre Peninsula

Postby Chris and Phil » Tue Mar 03, 2009 5:20 pm

:hello: Hi, We are taking off with our caravan next week to the Eyre Peninsula SA, we will be heading towards Port Lincoln and will proberly stay in the caravan park there for a few days.
As we love also to get away from it all, does anyone know of some good out of the way camping spots anywhere along that coast.

Make sure you go round to Whistling Rocks and the Blow Holes. Also Fish and chips at the Kiosk at the Caravan Park and a meal at the Pub.

The caravan park has one of the best camp kichen set ups I've come across.

There are lots of waterfront sites available.

Yep only the one.

There is also a drive down to a place called Cape Labatt where there is a sal colony you can look down on. If you go for the drive here then call into the small setlements. There is public loo in either Scearcy Bay or Baird Bay that is well worth visiting for the view from the inside
