Does anyone have any recommendations of the best camp ground to stay at in Tin Can Bay?

Al and Sharon went there last year though i haven`t seen them on here much.I`ll ring my sister in law, they lived there for a couple of years and only recently moved.

Tin Can Bay Tourist Park. They have a lovely Caravan park with nice, clean facilities, and most of all plenty of space at each of their sites. Even my wife who hates camping enjoyed staing at this park.

The other Caravan Park (Kingfisher) is more centrally located, however they tend to cram as many people in as possible, especially over holiday periods.

we stayed at the tcb tourist park there in 2003, so a while ago, and its a nice quiet park and a nice area.
the sites are average size, toilets are clean. there are quite a few ensuite sites . beach is a 5 minuite walk. there were lots of sand flies at that time, but i know they are seasonal.

the town has all the basic shops you need. you can fed the dolphins at the marina which was fun.fishing was good too. i agree that the prk --kingfisher --in town crambed people in and the sites were smaller. jo

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately I was supposed to be there about now, but a death in the family threw our plans into chaos. I now hope we can get there later in the year, and if we do I'll be sure to write up a review on the park.
