I have posted Gypsylady's report with a few photos.

Looks quite good though shade maybe a problem.

I visited Spring Gully Stays yesterday and I think it would make a good venue for Feb. Thanks to Andy and Ange for the tip.

I have updated the details at the top, and have added a poll to see who's coming. It would be good if you could respond by say mid Jan so if we get a few turning up we can make the neccessary arrangements.

Details on SGS can be found at

The April date will put me out totally, maybe the June one and of course that will depend upon whether a pet friendly venue is chosen for that one or not.

Long time between camps at this rate.

Chick

It is my understanding that the February one is at Bribie Island and the April one at SGS.

It can get a bit that way sometimes with the way some of the responses are posted Chick.

I am not even sure that I have it right but that was my best guess.

Cheers Gypsy

Originally in Feb we were going to SGS, but Al piped up with Bribie Island and that generated a fair bit of interest so we put SGS back to April. Its all a democracy here!

Apologies for the confusion.

Gypsylady, your time to shine! :armsup

You can pick the venue for a June meeting, and your best weekend (though avoid the school holidays as we will be heading out past Longreach then, amd I am sure others will be heading off somewhere as well) and I will organise it.

If we alternate between North and South of Brisbane, perhaps somewhere north.

So is that the 'booby' prize Troy??

How about somewhere west rather than north??

Ah, no booby prize.

West is fine, along as its not 2 hours past Birdsville. Being June we will need somewhere you can have a fire.
