Invitation to Sailing around Beautiful Moreton Bay 2008 FREE

Postby Mullie Grub Clan » Tue Dec 11, 2007 12:22 pm

:hello: everyone,
I would like to find out if anyone would like to come out sailing around Moreton Bay for the day on a 53 foot catamaran.

THIS IS NOT A JOKE..... IT IS FOR REAL

You can kick back and relax or help crew if you like. It's up to you.
We will sail around and then stop at either the sand hills over at Tangalooma or Peel Island/Horseshoe Bay for lunch, a few :beer , and a swim.

I have not as yet set a date.... so I will after we all get over Christmas and the new year.
Anyone is welcome to join us. If you have kids you would have to supply them with a life jacket.... we only have these for our kids plus 2 spare ones.

First in best dressed... but dont worry if you miss out the first time as we can always arrange another trip.

Could someone please put a poll in for this one? Im not sure how to do it.

:cheers
Chick

Kazza its ok that there is 5 of you as the boat hold 10 to 15 people.
It is a large boat and there is heaps of room on board inside and outside.
What ages are your kids?

Chick

Hi Troy,
Yes please because I will be sorting out many day trips. So if I can get an idea of how many people would like to come then I can arrange how many trips and when they will be so everyone will no. I will allocate everyone the day, date etc.
Would you like to join us?
Cheers,
Chick

hey Mulligrub Clan (chick)

Great to see this offer.
Takes me back to when we had yachts many moons ago (I built x2) and had 3x moored off the back jettys (mine, Dad's and F-I-L's) we tried to bring the bay to "realisation" for many people and I hope we succeded.

To all who live in Brissy or close by, we have an extraordinary "back yard" that is a secret sssssshhhhh. I've travelled by sea to many places and there is no island like Moreton (maybe Fraser) Also there are far and few between "great protected expanses" to sail in like Moreton Bay.

Do go and enjoy it.
It can be very dangerous, but so is crossing the road to school.

I had a hankering to build/fitout a 30-40' cat, as it seemed the way to go a while back but I'm passed it these days.

Who is the designer? Is "Thalassa" a Schionning or an extended "Gold Rush"? Perhaps somebdy else more likely.

Cheers
