Hi Sided Box Trailer Lid For Sale

Postby Hissy » Thu Mar 13, 2008 7:29 am

I am selling the lid from my trailer. It is a waste to see it sitting in the yard gathering dust.
Once mounted on a 7 x 4 box trailer.

Designed by myself to specific requirements this lid has been excellent.

The lid mounts onto your existing 7 x 4 trailer. It has two hydralic rams to assist in raising and keeping it in the raised position. In the open position i had a lock designed to stop lid from closing.

The top is designed to carry a boat or as you can see the mesh enables you to tie down loose items like fire wood, bikes etc.

Not supplied with this lid but can be if the price is right, two 60 watt solar panels. As you can see from the photos i had two and later three solar panels in the lid. The mesh protects them from damage and they can be removed in less then 2 minutes if required.

The best thing about this trailer lid is that it is 100% dust and water proof.
On all the trips away and the two years that i was using it i never had a wet or dirty load.

I am asking $100 for the lid which i believe is a far price.
