Just wondering...

As the question has been raised a few times I was wondering if you guys would like me to write up a tutorial (remembering im not a professional though) on Dual batteries, Solar & my experience with (waeco) fridges?

Just thought If I wrote up 3 tutes / articles on these topics we could refer newbies to these tutes when they ask?

Up to you guys...

Or if you want to suggest anything else (re: electrical type stuff) that I might be able to write up on...?

That sounds like a great idea. You might have dumb it down for the slow ones like myself.

Ok well looks like its a goer.

It'll take me a bit of time. so give me a couple of weeks (if its not up after a couple of weeks then jump on my back) Solar I'll write up as much as I can but it'll be an ongoing one as im still experimenting with solar myself.

There is a book called 'The Camper Trailer Book' by Collyn Rivers
that explains a fair bit about solar-and a lot else as well.

Thanks for that link. I have submitted my order for it. You can never learn enough in my view. It was expensive at $42.50 plus $5.00 postage so hope it is worth it.

Guys I havent forgotten about this

Im just waiting on getting my CF-80 back from repairs (as many of you know I bought it second hand so I sent it in to have new latches and hinges and a general check over / service) picking it up tomorrow so I'll chuck her back in the car and do some load tests for you all!

Im going to do two versions of the dual battery set up too as I think I've gotten a little too technical (and its 4 pages of 10pt text long!)

As for Solar Collyns book is a great resource (I dont own it yet but I have read many part of it when i borrowed it off a mate) I will try do a solar write up but I dont want to do it until I have had real world experiance with my own solar setup
