Emu Creek Flooded.

Hi Guys,
I recently took a trip to Emu Creek Campsite to climb Mt Superbus
the following day.
Had to turn around and go home because the creek was flowing over the road.
A 4WD could have easily made it, but the poor old Falcon would stall.
Ended up getting lost and driving in circles around Killarney.
Drove 350Ks that night all up!

Is there a way to check with the EPA or other such authority that the road is clear?

PS. I have an interesting connection with the Lincon bomber.
My Dad's best mate in school lost his father (the pilot) to the crash.
Dad showed me a school photo where his mate is wearing a black ribbon.

Cheers, Art.

I know you can see Mt Superbus from Carrs lookout so the Condamine Gorge should have a good flow of water again ?

I don't know the area, but I guess so, there was more than one road
covered in water.
I think the other was actually on Condamine river road.

I travelled from Carney's Creek direction all the way through to Cunningham
Hwy on the other side of Emu Vale, and then back to Killarney again,
and then back to Cunningham Hwy again.
