Is it LAW to have them checked every 12 months? Does that also include the ones you buy from SuperCheap?
I read the little booklet that came with mine and no where in that does it mention servicing or checking. I know the ones for chemical fires have to be checked every 12 months. We have them everywhere at work. Electrical and wood fire ones can be every 3 years I was told.

When you think about it sits in the back of the car in very very hot and very cold conditions. That alone should affect them surely.

Now I'm paranoid. Hell for $30 bucks it's worth discharging it for fun and getting a new one. Even though the gauge says it's fine!
Any man, in the right situation, is capable of murder. But not any man is capable of being a good camper. So, murder and camping are not as similar as you might think.
