I have got some of my best and worst stuff there.

On the best end is definately my all weather jacket,
and I love some the light weight tents.

Plenty of crap too though.

Two different torches have failed or become intermittent for some
reason within a short time of buying them, pity if I wanted to bust a safe
or break into a museum.

The worst item though, was a Denali self inflating mattress that I gave
up on after two returns. Each lasted a night each, and unfortunately,
NO SEX was performed on any of them.

A similar type of a different brand "Roman", and sourced elsewhere
has lasted for many months.

If this was America you could have sued them. :armsup

Hi all.
We discovered Anaconda a couple of weeks ago. We went to the Auburn store. I was amaized at the size of the place. The staff were very friendly & knew the products. Best of all the didn't try & upsell all the time.
Anaconda has won us.

The staff are very good there. I just wish Bunnings was the same. If you need help you can never find anyone. If you do happen to see a staff member when they see you they go walking off so they dont have to help you.
Cheers,
Chick

I bought the kids a Spinifex tent each at half price for 30 or 40 dollars and one withstood 50mm of rain in the Vic Alps on the Cup weekend. I think that's good value. The only gripe I have with tyhem is that they regularly halve the price of items and I expect we are paying far to much for thios Chinese made product most of the time. You used to pay $400 -$600 for a Gortex jacket when they were made in Australia or New Zealand and yoy still pay that now they are made in China and The Phillipines. So someone is getting rich. Of course,
and it isn't much trouble to maintain a replacement policy when the markup is over 66%.
