We have 6" compressed foam mattress with egg-shell foam on top.

Our wind-up has foam. Decided not to get the optional inner-springs at the time and after a 97 night trip (one week in the middle was in a real bed) we've decided they are fine for us.

We have foam and an eggshell. It means a firm bed but this is ok by me :)

To the 2 innerspring lovers, out of curiousity, did you buy a standard inner spring that you would use at home or did go for a specialist mattress designed for RV, caravans etc. :grin:

I got a specialist CT (different to the ones for caravans etc) made one, think it was about $350 from memory.
