CAMP TRAILER WITHOUT TENT

Postby HUSTLER » Sun Feb 10, 2008 3:25 pm

To everyone,
Has anyone seen a trailer like the ones that are used for CAMPERTRAILERS but without the tent.
I would love to be able to have the same system but want the trailer to have places to put everything, including our own tent.

Is there a name for them? Do they sell them commercially?

Regards/

I personally have not seen them made commercially but I have seen camping trailers about, complete with kitchen etc just minus the fold out tent section.

I think the ones I have seen, about 3 or 4 over time, are made by the individual.

Remember seeing one at Tuff Truck 2005 in the campground and also saw one in the Gwydir CP a few years back as well. My former boss back in 2002 was thinking along the same lines and was considering making one for himself. Don't know if it ever got off the ground though.

The Adventure CT is about as close as I have ever seen to it but it still does have the fold out tent section.

Sorry that I can't be more helpful.

welcom to the site hustler, try going to a company that makes campers & ask them about their trailers iam sure that you can buy just the trailer & all the add ons without the tent.

I did wonder if you may have been doing something like that. It was rather quiet without you.

What area are you looking at??

In Forest Lake. Nice area. The house I have backs onto bush but no doubt with Brisbane's ever increasing population that will eventually be cut up as well.
