I'm about to take my mouse back for a refund/exchange. single left click, clicks twice, really frustrating cant lasso or copy and paste

Have you checked to make sure there are no settings in the hardware manager that are making single clicks automatically double clicks?

As for my machine its being setup as a media server it should hold roughly 1000+ DVDs in 100% ISO. Plus photos Plus music etc.

8gig of ram is no more expencive than 1gig was last time I built a PC for home and it will get a good run using Vista 64bit.
Im going 64bit to get the most out of my processor and to take advantage of the fact that it isnt limited to 4gig of memory allocations total. This PC should last 8 years going by my past pc with minor upgrades.

It didn't do it always, seemed ok for 20min then play up for a hr. Anyways took it back, it was a bit under a year old, with a 3yr warranty so they just changed it over.
