Haven't done too much lately, went to Bundaberg for easter. Just sat around seeing friends, 4WDriving and drinking beer! No new toys too broke from the fuel prices on Easter!

We're off to Kalbarri which is 600k's north ... not looking forward tot he fuel bill as it will be around the $150 mark. Must make sure i buy my beer before we go ... at least that will be a few dollars saved!

:)

Cheers ...

Yeah I was supposed to go to Mackay at Easter but the fuel bill would have been too much, then you have beer and food on top of that! So I just went to Bundy!

I will have to get over to WA one day, I really want to drive right through the top end and do a heap of Barra fishing.

Go via Borroloola ... there's a river there called the Macarthur (sp?). So long as you have a boat you can't miss.

Darwin is becoming too trendy and thus not as many fish as there used to be.

I will still go to Darwin just to have a look. My mother went there from Adelaide along the Ghan last year she said its pretty nice in Darwin. I really want to see the big tides you guys get in the west. I have seen too many Malcolm Douglas shows I think!

Don't get me wrong; Darwin is a great spot ... to visit!

It is a very relaxed lifestyle and if it wasn't for the humidity I'd prbably still be there ... but after 8 yrs of territory tempesatures and four to five years of no winters I needed to get out.

At this stage I've yet to receveive counselling ... :o
