I've always wanted one of these Cobra's, now they come with a 'decent' engine size

780cui, or 12.9L in the old scale
809 kW / 1,100 hp at 7,000 rpm.

'94 Pajero V6 3 ltr.

I originally wnated a deisel but this car was so immaculate I couldnt resist. I'd post a pic but the rego plate stands out like dogs balls and when I erase it on photoshop and save it as a jpeg it won't d/l it.

Has cooper a/t tyres and some nice looking mags (which worries me as someone might pinch it).

I was going to do an LPG conversion but they take the rear seats out (its a 7 seater) and I'm told that the valves in Paj's where out when running on gas. So I'll just put a L/R tank in it.

I'm happy!

:)

Some upper cylinder lubricant will save the valves and what do you need the rear seats for? Unless you have 5 kids!

on the other hand the V6 Shouldn't be that bad on fuel and will be easier to buy fuel instead of gas in remote places.

Just get some of those locknuts for mags, also a good alarm system for the car. Thieves seem to be targeting 4wds a lot more now especially heavily modified ones or ones full of gear that they can sell off easy.

Scol, its a car, you bought a CAR  ... Real 4x4's dont have IFS

If its anything like my mates paj they're a good car. Not sure what year his is, i'll find out. But the V6 sounds really nice, and its got guts for a heavy thing... mind you i'm comparing this to my 4cy Diesel so for all I know, maybe the paj is sluggish :?

You could get a towbar on that.... it might rip the chassis from the body on you trailer when you gas it though

Just picked it up last night ... gave the RAV4 a run for its money too (my wife drove the RAV back). Looking forward to it;'s first decent camping trip (probably July).

Given that the love of my life (my wife, not the car) let me get one we traded the RAV in for a Getz which will be the wife's car. We save so much on fuel with teh Getz that the extra we used to spend on the RAV just goes straight into the PAj.

Also, we have soem cash left over so off to get a LR tank next week ... 8)

All I need now is a GPS, window tint, Engel and I'm set ...
