The admin removing Joy's posts was an interesting twist, wasn't it?!

Missing posts!! Now that is a bit of a worry.

Begs the question of what was contained in them that was of such concern??

I accidently published the same post twice after I got an error when I tried to publish the first time.

I think Admin guy just doesn't want to engage in a discussion about the why of the change and the set-up. And doesn't want to tell us that we should be bloddy grateful to even have this forum, etc... Which is probably a wise move.

Changed my gas regulator this arvo and installed copper pigtails instead of the SS hoses. The regulator I took off was a sealed unit so I couldn't pull it apart however I had another one that was screwed together so I pulled it apart to have a look. Here's what was in the top section... probably could have cleaned it but choose to chuck it in the bin with the other one.

Monaro,,,Its interesting to see how the different states in this country have different requirements.
I recently got an R W C for our Nissan Campervan and one of the things it failed for was the regulator not being attached to the wall of the cylinder holding area....I had to buy a new one and have it fixed to the wall...plus a new vent below the bottom of the bottle...as gas drops down hill in the event of a failure.....

Just another way for them to make a buck.....

The other difference could be Rosco that one is a campervan and the other a camper trailer...may well be different rules. CTs often fall into a grey area when it comes to these things.
