I also bought different shampoos from vet and pet store,Minx instantly stopped scratching after i bathed in this soap, it would last 3/4 days before he would start again now he can go a week or more depending on the weather heat etc.

I am not having the same success as you with this soap PJ.....more's the pity.

The other thing i used at the same time was mouth wash,i read in a beauty book that it killed the dandruff bug so decided to try it on him, pour or sprayed it on straight, left for 10/15 min then bathed with billy goat soap, maybe that was the cure and not the soap. Our latest foster dog is in a bad way skin wise so i`m going to try the same approach for him.

My girls don't have any visible rash just a very pink skin so maybe it is a different thing all together.

Their skin is soft, very pink and smooth unles of course ma bella gets a hot spot.

So far little dora has not had one but she has only just started scratching in the latter times.

I still think it is something in the house that is irritating them....for years I have always bombed the house when I went on holidays and I wonder if it might be the residue in the carpets from that.

They both come good once we are away for a few days 5 or 6 and then start to scratch again when we come home.

I have had ma bella tested and skin scrapings but she has not tested positive to anything.

I thought the BG soap might have been the answer especially after you had such great results with it.

Is it from plants or grass you might have?
