we're spending 5 days at the tallebudgera creek caravan park, 2 weeks in between camping trips, too long.

this will be it for us till it gets warmer according to the boss

It's quite funny to read this from a Queenslander! We'll be having nighttime temps around 5 degrees on this coming trip. I'm hoping for a balmy 22ish during the day though. My daughter has her mind set on swimming in the river.

lol, well at this rate there wouldnt be an issue with heat thats for sure.

our family is hard enough to manage as it is right now without having to try and keep them warm & dry as well thats why we'll be giving it a break. we do usually camp in winter though

Staying home ANZAC weekend.Going to Peach Trees the following weekend. :grin:

Unfortunately do the family thing for the anzac weekend so I will definitely work on going away the may long weekend. I am way out of touch and have not been thinking about camping at all! where is my brain???? :(

I think it might just be a bit lost jellycamp....wandering around in the wilderness somewhere....maybe looking for somewhere to camp.....lol.

Off to Melville Caves camp area, Kooyoora State Park (near Bendigo Vic.)

Invited a few friends but so far most have other plans / too lazy.
We welcome anyone to be neighbours for the weekend especially if you have
kids (to help keep our 3yo amused).
Didn't get to go camping over Easter so having withdrawals :evil:

Do you need to book this area, or is it first come basis,looks interesting for a future forage.
