We're off this weekend and so far the weather forecast looks awesome. 23-24 degrees and if it does rain, it'll only be a few drops. Perfect weather for sitting by the river with a :beer indeed!

It's only about 40mins down the road from us, nice little town. :?#

Our mates father owns the Courthouse Hotel in town as well as the farm we're going too

One of the best weekend we had there was the weekend of the Irish Woolfest, the running of the sheep being a highlight

Invited a few friends but so far most have other plans / too lazy.
We welcome anyone to be neighbours for the weekend especially if you have
kids (to help keep our 3yo amused).
Didn't get to go camping over Easter so having withdrawals

Is this area suitable for caravans? Might mention it to the other half and see what he has to say.

I think it might just be a bit lost jellycamp....wandering around in the wilderness somewhere....maybe looking for somewhere to camp.....lol.

I think you might be right there GL! Or focusing too much on work  What the hell was I thinking?? It's alright, I have the brain back on the right track now. Off to anaconda on saturday to pick up a few things and then off camping may long weekend. Already have friends that are keen campers lined up. Now the big question is where to go and where will I get in? At least now i am thinking straight! :+ Just had another idea. I will steal dad's CT when I see him on Anzac weekend! Now we're talking! :***

We've changed our plans, not going away now, putting the van into dry dock to repair the leakage issues(ie; totally restore the roof of the van), so we have enough time to get it done before the weather warms up again.

It's more of a gush really :*** and even with a tarp over the top there's leaks, the roof of the van has rotting in spots, and it's basically all coming apart.
