Note that it is the dog who is under the shade!

:*** Elaine. I normally only take my shade tent to the beach for the dog! I don't mind sitting in the sun on the beach myself.

Why not to post pics

a) privacy. Like some others I know better than to be so trusting. Experience on the net, especially forums, taught me so.

b) it could be a work issue. My line of work takes public funding over here. & then there are Wamarts, WallyDocking, Urban parking or whatever you call it. #1 principle there is; any driver has to be able to pull over and sleep. One reason so many of us can camp out of or in something with wheels is that we want some freedom of choice on our recreation times. Don't tell us where we can park, especially re. $. I needed to be able to keep mum with some politicians. On the other hand I sent links to a politician's administrative assistant re, over the top unsubstantiated public statements by one particular forum member attacking my former province, Newfoundland. That I see as a need to know issue. But I can't see that posting my pic on forums would have done any of us any good.

:)
& I, I took the road less travelled by

Sorry but part b) makes no sence, or is it just me ::()

As for privacy, the fact that your on the net and on a public forum, showing where you live and work, means your already out there for the world to see.

Just my 2 cents.

Personnally I don't care, I'm in all my trip reports so a couple of extra photos won't make much difference.
