Stopping to fish a bank during the day with a quick shade option.Lunch etc.
Without the caravan or CT on the back, Kiss effect.

Not sure if you have seen them in action but believe me the Foxwing definitely qualifies as KISS....anyways to each his own.

The Foxwing is a pain in the arse, as you need to put all the ropes and poles out, while it is a great idea, in reality it's bloody awkward to manage, especially when it's windy and for $900, way over priced.

We went for a simple awning, 5m x 2.5m, one spreader bar, 2 poles, 2 ropes or if you have it set up like below, no ropes at all.

A Bob Burrage awning, $385, Australian made in good quality Australian canvas.

Thanks Baz....the problem was that I had no idea of what I was looking for either.

It looks like a good product and my local guy can do the same thing for me but I am after something that also opens over the rear door, which is why I particularly like the Foxwing.

Now that you have mentioned that it a PIA, I have decided to stop the next person/s I see with one and chat to them about it. Has to be better than talking to the salesguy.

Cheers Gypsy

Rosco, $350 plus postage of around $40.
I liked the idea of it self winding up.

No they don't, roll up by hand, like I said simple, nothing to break, unlike other awnings it's 5metres x 2.5metres, not 2m x 2.4m, but like most things it's a personnal choice thing, what suits me may not someone else.
