I say 'excellent' as well....

We are off to a place We haven't camped at yet called ''Fernvale''...Any one else stayed there ????.....Looks like about a 2 hour drive from home (Strathpine) either down through Ipswich and up,,,,or through the Brisbane valley and down (The way we will go)......
Best of all, theres a river there that is 'Supposed' to have fish...looks like a nice peacefull place to stay.

Cheers

Where in Fernvale are you going Rosco?? To my knowledge there are no camping areas there. There used to be camping by the creek but that has since been banned and bollards and no caming signs are now all around the place.

You'll have yours in October XB and then we will be green with envy. Mind you I'd like to see them spaced out a bit more.

Next year will be a bummer as Easter falls on Anzac day....we will definitely miss out there.

Make sure you have plenty pf tick prevention dea, 'personal' tick prevention.

When I was there they were literally falling out of the sky or so it seemed. I have not been back since because of them.

This time of year might be better, hopefully a bit too cool for them.

It was not my furbaby who had the problem dea....I did say 'personal' tick prevention...it was we people who has issues with the ticks. Just be prepared in case.

Presuming it is not the former creek camp, I reckon Rosco should share his secret at Fernvale, hey FRM?????

Come on Rosco....spill the beans, we won't tell anyone.
