I always thought I'd die in my office at my desk......but then decided that if my expectations are not too great I can manage way before then. I will have to do some part time/temporary work but that sure the hell beats what I am doing now.

Our next trip will only be in October (due to way too bloody cold here now) but I find myself thinking about it very often too!

Hi everyone, we had a great weekend at peachtrees at jimna. The place was packed but everyone was well behaved. Even managed to get a afternoon sleep on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately I couldn't take any photos as my memory card was full and I forgot to empty it before I went. One thing I have to rave about is the 12 volt shower that I bought. How great are they? I love it!!!! Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Hi every-one,,,,Avis & I also had a great w/e away....Until the night before we had still not decided where to go.....''PET FRIENDLY' was the key....it is getting harder & harder to find somewhere close that will allow pets.....SO......We decided on the 'Glasshouse Mountains camp.
Did heaps of walking / driving around the area....Also tried out our new water heater as well (Avis loves a good hot shower....so, I'm in the good books as it worked very well...lol))....So all in all...we enjoyed ourselves.....Bailie came home worn out and we came home as usual feeling our stay was a few days short....

our camper hasn't been out of the shed for over a year! Sad but the reality of kids and their sport! We did zap off to Fiji for 10 days so have managed a little holiday.

Last Saturday we had Auskick (junior AFL footy, wife goes with one son and I go with the other but I am also one of the 'coaches' so it's full on, no relaxing watching junior run around sipping a hot chocolate!), Karate (both boys but seperate classes so there for two sessions), and attended a high school open day. On Sunday had 8am start for junior football then an hour wait until next son played his football match. Spent the rest of the afternoon watching AFL on the tele. During the week we have swimming, footy training and Karate which between them, covers every night, so kids sport 7 days a week!!! In summer, footy is replaced by Little Aths, which is on a Saturday, but since oldest son is actually pretty good at some events, he gets specific coaching Sunday mornings... no sleep-ins in our house!!!

I'm hoping to convince my daughter that camping IS a sport.

A friend joined a Facebook group the other day called: "In America they call it survivor, in Australia we call it camping." :***
