First camp this year

Postby Ricklanga » Sun May 23, 2010 8:56 pm

Just returned from a long weekend at Inskip Point. First camp since June last year & the weather was perfect. Rained a little on the trip there on Friday morning then remained fine for the rest of the weekend. Temperature was perfect as well, only needed a jumper at night. The wife cooked Gypsy's egg & sausage pie for lunch on Saturday & everyone loved it. The worst part of the whole weekend was leaving that's for sure.

It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.

WOW Rick...the point is looking heaps better than when I was there at easter time. Love the goanna.........and kids look like they are doing their usual trick......behaving like dills when you get the camera out!!

Very glad to hear that it was a great camp.....and enjoyed by all.

The worst day camping still beats the best day working
