We are going to bestbrook mountain for camping, never been there ,they sound nice on the phone and have plenty of things to do for adults and kids including farm activities(milking cows, egg colecting),horse riding, pony rides, train for the kids, ect. Sounds good,a bit expensive, but we'll find out and post a reveiw.

There has been some good feedback on Bestbrook before, especially for families. Not my ideal camp because of the motor bikes, I look for solitude and peace and quiet.

I am off to Levuka for the weekend. It is a great place. Mainly for 4WDing but it is very quite in the camping areas. There is alot of wlking trials through the rainforest part of the property. NO motorbikes allowed....

I'm too disorganised right now to go camping for a weekend. I'm plannning our first winter camp during the July school holidays! Campfire will be a must and I might attempt my first campoven roast. Though I only have a tiny campoven...

Going to attempt to go to Melville Caves after last attempt was cancelled.
This time I don't care if no one wants to come, I am going regardless :)

Will by some firewood as my back is too stuffed to chop my own, just need to remember to leave room for it in the Camper Trailer and there will definitely be port involved. :beer

Still haven't got a camp oven so it will be the usual sausages for breakfast lunch and dinner. :|

Sausages, sausages and more sausages...looks a bit boring Brad. Campground is looking pretty good though.

Thinking either Wombeyan Caves or Coolendel at the moment.... Cold nights, warm fires, a few walks and a bit of 4WD'ing..

Usual thing on a long W/E,one of us is working.
I don't mind not camping on long W/Es.

We will wait to go in the school hols which is just around the corner.
Will be cold but oh so quiet.
Well except for the kids.

That's a bit of a bugga XB....think I'd be with you....think camping would win out if I could not combine the two or get an alternate camping weekend organised.

Good luck
