Bear Grylls' Pants

Bear Grylls' Pants

Postby Art » Wed Jun 02, 2010 9:42 pm

Hi Guys,
Anyone know what type of pants Bear wears often in Man Vs Wild?
They are greyish in colour, but have black reinforcement in the knees and bum areas.
I work for Mountain Designs, and we have nothing quite like them.
Maybe I should drop a hint to the design team.
Cheers, Art.

careful art.. if you wear the pants, you need to walk the walk. you also might develop a taste for raw camel carcass and scorpions..

Bear's a legend.

I found a good lookign grub when chopping wood the other day. I challenged the kids to eat it. They declined. I guess they're not ready for the pants yet.

Oh, anyway, about the Bear Grylls pants...
It doesn't look like the black material is actually reinforcement at all,
just a different color material in those places.

Thanks :)
Well I've challenged myself to do something like that this year.
Long story but it's kind of a punishment for not meeting an earlier task I set for myself a few years back.

I think the easiest of such things to do would be to eat a headless lizard with the guts squeezed out of it,
but as Bear has said in Aussie episodes, the law in Australia prevents a white man from killing any reptiles
(besides, I have a fondness for them, and a pet Bearded Dragon).
