Derek, your an inspiration to some :D

After seeing some of the things you can do in it, I bought my first camp oven. As a test run I bought one of those ready to go roasts from wollies, I was a little unsure exactly how many coals to use, but it turned out ok. I think I left it a bit too long so it turned out a little dry but edible. I made a gravy using the juices at the bottom of the oven and it turned out awesome.

I tried baking a cake with little success, It looked good, but very doughy, maybe not enough water in the mix, but I'll get the hang of it :)

The funny thing is, 1 week after buying it, I was given one and yesterday I saw a larger oven for an absolute bargain that i couldn't pass up. So now I have 3 ovens :D
I've been following your tips and recipee's on your site. So yeah, A BIG thanks go's out to you.
