::) We are taking the CT out this Sat night!!!!!!!!! ::)

Only taking it over to Mum & Dad's place (1.5hrs away) and camping on their front lawn as we have Nan's 90th and we can't all fit in their place + van so we are taking our CT over as we would rather spend the 5 mins it takes to set up the tent and sleep on our lovely inner spring than on Mum's horrid sofa-bed!!! :*** :***

Anyone else got plans for this weekend??????

We have 10 nights in total.

We are meeting up with friends at The Warrumbungles for the last 6 nights so we were thinking of going to Lake Burrendong for the first 4 nights.

Thats the plan.

Not long for you XB...

Sounds like a very good excuse :+
I just Googled The Warrumbungles , looks great, What's the area like for camping?
Dunny's etc?
I have driven past at least a dozen times, next time must go looking.

according to my new faviroute book, HEMA camping atlas of NSW, there are 9 camp sites to choose from, one has showers, the others have toilets and untreated running water, so BYO water or boil before drinking. Fee's apply to some sites.
It looks like a beautiful spot.

DD has answered this. ;)
i think we will just sus it out when we get there.
i rang the visitor centre,we don't need to book.
fires allowed as long as there is not a fire ban.
Camp Wambelong sounds like the go i think although Camp Blackman has the most facilities.

Titch, the main reason we are going is to climb mountains, well they will feel like mountains to me.
OK so we are just going to hike not climb mountains.
