What are you doing today

A place to talk about anything well just about anything (this is a family show remember).

Growing up we had a Galah and when we moved from Wollongong to Wigham it was travelling in the trailer. When dad stopped to get petrol, it let out an almighty scream and calling out, "Mum, mum, let me out", over and over again. The guy filling the car thought my parents had a kid locked in the trailer until dad explained...This was one of his favoutire saynings as he would call to mum to let him out of his cage every morning. He had sme other choice sayings that he picked up from my brother who had his workshop in our garage, but as this site is P.G. I'll leave it there...lol

omg LOL

That sounds just to much like Charlie and Buddy, our "teen" male sulphurs!!
Charlie tattles on the children all the time - its always "MOM!" and followed by "She's doing it again!" and then some pretty jumbled tale of something or other.
Buddy can get in a mood now and then - typical moody boy I guess - where he literally gets mouthy at us! The first time he did it I thought it was Charlie and was genuinely shocked, because Charlie's always been the "good" boy!!
They were both raised with children into teen years, so it gets a little interesting!! :***

Buster is a staid "old" man topping at 60 years, and his contribution to conversations is usually "MOM!!"

Can anyone tell us what the Northern NSW coast is like these days? We are planning on heading out Tuesday morning - and have been hearing tons of stories about all the flooding going on up in the Kyogle/Ballina area. Since we will be staying in tents ... its a bit concerning!

I think the rain has finally caught up with us....we are sitting here in the campground and it is fairly piddlin down this arvo.

We have even had to dig a trench the avert the water otherwise we would all be swimming and not in the river which we overlook.

No titch, the dam is only at 51% and looking good I might add. It has been a couple years since I was here and the dam has heaps more water.
