Taking a basic Camper trailer and a tent, using the camper as a base.
We hope to be on the island at least 2 weeks, leaving the return trip unbooked, maybe stay for three.
Intend looking at both ends of the island.
2 surf rods and I intermediate,
2 small spin rods.
How do you catch Squid?
Nah your not being a sticky beak its all learning for me.and others.
Already have learnt of a place to stay on the way, thank you muchly.
Shall arrive at Rapid bay Monday arvo.
I am thinking to book the ferry for the Wednesday morning.
Cheers.

squid...mmm they like warm weather over rocks!
land base ... float a pilchard on a float with a wire squid jag (strap a pillie to a barbed setup)
Or flick out a uzuri (personal color of choice and retreave in a jerking motion like a swiming prawn)
Cheers!

Have a great time! I love KI, have been about 5 times but never camped. There are so many things to do and explore, it can keep you busy for a long time!
We live on the way from adelaide to cape jarvis so wave as you go past...
