Camping at Neurum Creek this weekend

A place to talk about anything well just about anything (this is a family show remember).

Camping at Neurum Creek this weekend

Postby Ross D » Thu Nov 17, 2011 2:36 am

I will be camping at Neurum Creek this weekend for the first time. The missus and I had a drive up there on Tuesday, and was really impressed with the facilities and variety of different sites available.
I will be taking my kayak up and having a paddle. Will be checking out how far I can go up.
I will post a report and take a few pics of our campsite and hopefully get time to put them on the forum later next week.
I think I'm in site f12.

We haven't been there ourselves Ross...So,,,I'll be looking forwards to your report & pics....
We have had a mixture of reports done on that place,,,,some great,,,some ,,,not so great
I didn't realize that the river was big enough to kayak on....that should mean that fishing is not out of the question there....

Cheers & I hope you enjoy your weekend......

Yes PJ it is pet friendly but there is a per dog fee per night (think it is $2.50 from memory) and a bond which used to be $50 per dog as well. Yes the bond is refundable if the dog/s behave etc.
