Newbies to the forum......

Postby mac15 » Mon Feb 25, 2008 1:00 pm

Hello fellow campers,

I've been lurking here on & off for a while but thought I'd better register so I can join in on the fun.

We've been camping for a long time - graduated from tents to CT's and won't go back! We bought the bullet even more last year & sold the soft floor to buy a new hard floor camper & just love it.

When we got the new CT last year, we decided there wouldn't be much room for our 7 year old - so we bought him his own tent. He loves it & when we go away with friends, he often gets a roommate. We've also bought him a swag and put him in it on the weekend when we took the opportunity to escape up to Blue Gums (Caravan park near Eildon Vic).

Forgot to mention - we're a small family (2 grown ups & 1 x 7 yo) who live in the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We get away monthly over the most of the year for a weekender plus take a longer trip as well to experience the great outdoors and see the spectacular sights of this beautiful country.

Love the forums - I use them to get ideas of new places to see & visit on our travels so keep the good info coming so I can plan our trips for this year!

We're always looking for new people to meet up with or travel with while camping/touring around so hopefully we can meet up some time.

c ya
When's my next holiday??
