Howdy :)

Hope this is a friendly site as hubby and I have absolutely no idea about camping and are going to be like sponges soaking up the info.

About us - We are in our very early 30's with a 2yo and would love to start seeing Australia, we have done a fair bit of O/S travel and have visited all the states of Oz, but it is time to get into the nitty gritty of our great land.

Looking forward to becoming an active member of this board!

Kate and Pete,

Welcome to Camping.com. Your little one is probably at the perfect age to be able to appreciate the camping lifestyle without being too difficult to cater and prepare for. We had a little break from camping when our kids came along and at about the same age as yours is now we got back into it and have not looked back since.

What part of Oz do you call home?

That was going to be one of our questions as we didn't know how old kids should be to take them safely camping. We live on the Central Coast!

Thanks Redback :) I guess the day you stop learning should be the day you pack up sticks ;)
