Hi Just joined up after lurking around the the edges for a while. I have have been camping with my family for about two years now. Most of our camping trips have been at located at coastal caravan parks but have we have also dabbled in a little bush camping. We've recently upgraded from a 6 person dome tent to a camping trailer and the extra space is working out great (not to mention the time it saves to pack/unpack before we go... for example our last trip took us an hour to pack to go and 1/2 hour to unpack when we got home). I have also recently purchased the RACQ Camping 4 guide, so I am thinking that the family and I will have a few extra (budget) weekend camps this year, and maybe even a road trip up the coast of qld. Anyway really like the forum and I am looking forward to exchanging ideas and participating in conversations and with fellow campers. Happy travels Scott.

Welcome, Scott. We also have a camper trailer. I find it enables us to get away for weekends quickly & easily. It stays packed & ready to go and all I have to do is come home & through a few clothes into a bag. and some food into the fridge (Evakool 55lt).
